A white bear at NLH space, Copenhagen, April 2011 The white bear is a beast from within that has been stuck on minds since F. Dostoyevskij put it there in 1863 with his famous mindexperiment. An experiment where one was to try not to think of a white bear, only to see that: "the cursed thing would come to mind every minute". In 2009 however, the white bear came out of the head it was in to investigate the politics and the history of depth, surface and many other bear-related issues.
