A Persian carpet was referring to key events in the war and a series of chess games and conversations between Iraqis living in Denmark and the artist was held. The topics were the current situation of art and art schools in Iraq, the role of the media and how the situation for women has changes. The conversations were published in a booklet. The game of chess was invented in India, but developed in Persia closer to the form it took after eventually reaching Europe. The game symbolically links eastern and western culture in a history of war and cultural exchange.
