About The Visual Arts Centre
The Danish Arts Agency’s Visual Arts Centre handles the secretarial functions of a number of committees under the Danish Arts Foundation and The Danish Arts Council including the Danish Arts Council’s Committee for International Visual Art.
As part of the secretarial functions for the Committee for International Visual Art, the centre conducts disseminational work for contemporary Danish visual art in regard to the public and the professional art world. This takes place in the form of residency programs, curatorial visitation programs, talks and seminars and many other acitivities aimed at forming creative dialogues between Danish and international contemporary art.
The Archive of Danish Visual Art Archive www.kunstdk.dk is a significant part of Visual Art Center’s information work and is funded by the Danish Arts Council’s Committee for International Visual Art.
