About my work 2011

In animation, rotoscoped video, photographic collage and installation i create works, that blend personal experiences with fiction and common narratives about History, gender and norms.I utilize my own and found photographic material in stories about how the individual person connects with the commons.

An important theme in my works, is about how the individual person can feel part of a public realm, where basic human emotions and mental states of minds, can be experienced and lived. These public spheres are secular of nature, and they no longer emphasize (religious) rituals. It is a culture of common unspoken, and privately experienced notions.
