In this series of linoleum cuts different events experienced for better or worse by girls and boys in developing countries are illustrated. Two doll like figures – a girl and a boy – are seen either in the background or in front observing what is happening.
Each of them are on their journey through life being exposed to strange endeavors with human beings, animals or surreal worlds, which they do not understand or have never experienced before. Are they witnessing reality or is it thoughts and fantasies blurring into “reality” which they experience on their journeys?
